There are 10 electric bulbs and 2 are defective. So there are 8 bulbs without defect.

Probability of getting a defective bulb is:

p=210=15

So, probability of getting a bulb without defect is:

q=1-p=1-15=45

Now, let X be the number of defective balls out of 2 trials. Then the binomial distribution is given as:

P(X=x)=Cxnqn-xpx=Cx2452-x15xn=2,q=45,p=15

So to find the probability that none of the bulbs is defective substitute 0 for x.
