Solution

The correct option is C

x-y=π(1-y)

Explanation for the correct option:

Finding the equation of line,

Let the required line be AB.

Calculating the point of intersection of 3x-2y-1=01 and x-4y+3=0:

Multiplying x-4y+3=0 by 3, we get

3x-12y+9=02

Subtracting equations 1 and 2, we get

3x-2y-1-3x-12y+9=0-2y-10=010y=10y=1

Substituting the value of yin equation 1 we get

3x-2y-1=03x-21-1=03x-3=0x=1

Hence, the point of intersection is (1,1).

Using the formula for the line passing through points, to find the equation of line AB

y-1=1-01-π(x-1)(y-1)(1-π)=x-1x-y=π(1-y)

Hence, the correct answer is Option (C).
