Solve for the radius of the circle passing through the point P(6,2)

The point of intersection of the diameters is the center of the circle.

x+2y=4...(i)x+y=6...(ii)

y=-2

Substituting y=-2in (ii)

x-2=6⇒x=8

So, the center is (8,-2)

The circle passes through (6,2)

Radius =8-62+(-2-2)2=20

=25

Hence, option(B) is the correct answer.
