  1. Ionic reaction is generally the reaction of ions that are anions and cations to form a compound in a medium in which they are dissolved.
  2. When ions of water-soluble salts interact with each other in aqueous medium results in the formation of water-insoluble salts.
  3. For example- When we mix HCl with aqueous NaOH it results in the formation of salt NaCl and Water H2O. HClaq+NaOHaq→NaClaq+H2Oaq.
