  2. It covers about 30% of the planet's crust.
  3. The chemical formula of Silica is SiO2.
  4. Silica is naturally found in many of the food items, whereas Silicon dioxide is generally used to decrease the anticaking property of the food, i.e. collecting or sticking together property.
  5. The food sources where we found Silica are as follows: wholegrain, rice, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.
  6. Benefits of using Silica in food items as it increases the strength and bone density of our body.
  7. It also helps in lowering the risk of blockage of arteries, lowering the cholesterol level, and helps in supporting the immune system.
