It is the most abundant element in the Universe (about 70% of the total mass of the Universe) and is also very common on the Earth.
In a free state, Hydrogen is present in the Gases of the Volcano and the outer atmosphere of the Sun and other stars of the Universe.
About half of the Mass of the Sun and some other stars is due to Hydrogen.
Jupiter and Saturn mainly consist of Hydrogen.
Hydrogen is the third most abundant element on the Earth.
On the Earth, Hydrogen is present in several components as with a Combination of Oxygen it forms Water, Carbon, Sulphur, Nitrogen, and Halogens in the form of Organic matter in plant and animal tissues, Carbohydrate, proteins, etc.
Apart from this Hydrogen is also present in the Mineral kingdom e.g Coal, Petroleum, oil, Natural gas, etc.
