Which function is always positive?

Open in App
Solution

  1. If a function f(x) is positive, it means that for any value of x, the value of f(x) will greater than zero.
  2. Graphically, these functions will be present on only the positive side of the y-axis.
  3. An example of such a function would be the exponential function, f(x)=ax, where a is a positive number.

Here, a=1.5 and f(x) is a positive function.
