Why are Kepler's laws still in use today?

Kepler's Laws:

1. As per Kepler’s first law, every planet revolves around the sun in an elliptical orbit with the Sun at one focus.
2. The second Law of Kepler states that orbit sweeps an equal area in an equal interval of time.
3. According to the Third law given by Kepler the square of the period of revolution of the planet is proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of the elliptical orbit.

Hence, for predicting the motion of satellites around the planets in a certain orbit Kepler's law is very helpful today. Also, it gives a better understanding of our solar system hence playing a crucial role in space science.
