  1. Agaricomycetes are a class of diverse fungi.
  2. Some of these fungi are edible, but most of them are highly poisonous.
  3. Few poisonous species contain a toxin named amatoxins. Example: Amanita phalloides, Galerina marginata, Lepiota josserandii.
  4. Amatoxins cause headache, dizziness, breathing difficulties, liver and kidney failure, etc.
