Open in App
Solution

Bryophytes

  1. They are non-vascular plants of the plant kingdom found in shady and moist areas.
  2. All the body parts are multicellular, only Rhizoids and spores may be unicellular or multicellular.
  3. Bryophyte spores are typically small, measuring 5–20 micrometers on average, and unicellular, while some spores are multicellular and much larger.
  4. When spores are expelled from the sporangium, they contain chlorophyll.
