  3. These plants are evergreen and their leaves are needle or scale-like in their shape.

Dandelions:

  1. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a perennial, dicot plant that belongs to the family Asteraceae.
  2. Dandelions are not gymnosperms. They are angiosperms in which pollen grains and ovules develop inside a flower.
  3. The seeds produced by angiosperms are enclosed within the fruits.
