Solution

Asexual and Sexual reproduction:

  1. Asexual reproduction involves only one parent as they do not require a sex cell or fertilization process to reproduce.
  2. Sexual reproduction requires sex cells both male and female gamete to fuse together to give birth to young ones.
  3. The organisms produced are genetically different from both their parents.
  4. Example: Humans, Animals.

Earthworms

  1. They are terrestrial invertebrates that belong to the phylum Annelida.
  2. Earthworms are simultaneous hermaphrodites i.e., they contain both male and female reproductive organs.
  3. They reproduce by cross-fertilization which is why they are sexual organisms.
