Extremophiles are organisms that live in harsh environments. These organisms have various adaptations which help the organisms thrive in conditions like high pressure, extreme temperatures, acidic pH, and high salt concentrations.
Example: Picrophilus torridus is a thermoacidophile that can survive in acidic and hot conditions.
Eubacteria:
Eubacteria (true bacteria) are characterized by the presence of a rigid cell wall. The lipids present in their cell membrane are ester-linked.
Eubacteria are not extremophiles. They are mostly found all over the earth from soil to human intestines.
Examples-Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, etc.
