Humans:

  1. Humans are vertebrates that belong to the Hominidae family.
  2. An animal is called asymmetrical when any plane that passes through the central axis does not divide the body into equal halves.
  3. Example: Sponge.
  4. Humans appear symmetrical externally from the head to the tail or toe. Thus referred to as bilaterally symmetrical.
  5. But internally, their organs are placed asymmetrically.
  6. Example- the presence of the heart on the left side and liver on the right side of the body.
