Open in App
Solution

Petals:

  1. Petals are the outer covering of the reproductive part of the flower which is brightly coloured or is unusually shaped to attract pollinators toward them.
  2. They are soft coloured parts of flowers.
  3. They form corolla and they are the sterile parts of the flower.
  4. Since petals are not involved in the formation of gametes, they are considered sterile.
