Open in App
Solution
Photoautotrophs:
These organisms
use sunlight to manufacture their own food.
Examples- green plants, photosynthetic bacteria, etc.
Protists:
They are simple, unicellular eukaryotic organisms.
They are neither plants nor animals or fungi.
Examples- algae, plasmodium, euglena, amoebas, slime molds, etc.
Protists like algae prepare their own food using sunlight. Therefore, it can be said that some of the protists are photoautotrophic.
