Asexual reproduction

  1. A mode of reproduction in which a single parent produces a new offspring.
  2. The offsprings are identical to the parents.
  3. Example- Bacteria, Hydras, etc.

Reproduction in worms:

  1. Either sexual or asexual.
  2. All worms are not asexual.
  3. For instance, earthworms are hermaphroditic organisms.
  4. Hermaphrodite is an individual that has both male & female reproductive organs.
  5. However, worms without sexual organs reproduce through fission.
