Open in App
Solution

Radula:

The radula is a jagged, ribbon-like organ with many teeth.

Gastropods:

  1. Gastropod is a species of animal, such as a snail or slug, that lacks a spine, has a soft body with a flat base utilized for movement, and frequently has a shell.
  2. Gastropods, like all other molluscan groups, have bivalves at the front end of the digestive system, which is a stiff odontophore.
  3. A broad ribbon (radula) with a few thousand to several thousand "teeth" is frequently supported by this organ (dental).
  4. Within gastropods, both herbivorous and carnivorous snails and slugs feed with the help of radula.
  5. Thus, Gastropods have a radula.
