Formation of nuclear pores in nuclear envelope:

  1. Nuclear pores are formed by large protein assemblies and are known as nuclear pore complex.
  2. Each nuclear pore complex is known to be formed by approximately thirty different proteins called nucleoporins.
  3. There are several hundred proteins in each pore.
