1. Cnidaria is a primitive phylum of lower non-chordates.
2. These have tissue level of organisations. They lack organ systems.
3. There are two body stages in cnidarians' life - polyp and medusa.
4. Medusa reproduce polyp through sexual reproduction and polyp reproduce medusa through the budding method of asexual reproduction.
5. Polyps have cylindrical shaped body. They are sedentary.
6. Medusa have umbrella like body with tentacles and mouth.
7. Pressure is applied against the hydrostatic pressure. The umbrella contracts and water is expelled outside of the body, to make it move.
