Solution
Viruses
The virus is a submicroscopic organism that can replicate only inside a living host cell.
Their genomic material can be either RNA or DNA.
Viruses have the capability of causing global pandemics.
On replication inside a host cell, they create multiple progeny viruses which are released by bursting the host cell.
They can also remain dormant inside a living organism for many days and reoccur months or decades after infection.
For example, chicken pox, which was seemingly eradicated by the immune system decades ago, can re-emerge and cause a herpes zoster infection.
