Heart:

1. The heart is an organ, the size of a fist, which pumps blood and delivers nutrients throughout the body.
2. It has four main chambers - right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium and left ventricle.

Symptoms of a weak heart:

1. Shortness of breath, especially upon lying down or exertion
2. Fatigue
3. Rapid or irregular heartbeat
4. Chest pain
5. Swelling in the ankles and feet (edema)
6. Persistent coughing or wheezing with phlegm
