Human heart:

1. The heart of a human is a muscular organ, having the size of a closed fist.
2. It is the central organ of the circulatory system whose main function is to pump blood.
3. Human heart is divided into four chambers, two ventricles, and two articles.
4. Right atria and right ventricle contains deoxygenated blood.
5. Left atria and left ventricle contains oxygenated blood.
6. Heart is present in the thoracic cavity slightly tilted towards the left.
7. Heart is covered with a double-layered membrane called the pericardium.
8. The heart wall is divided into three layers:
   the epicardium, myocardium, and endocardium.
