  1. Skeletal muscles are voluntary muscles that are attached to the bones and is involved in the functioning of different parts of the body.
  2. Glucose converted into glycogen and stored in muscles and the liver.
  3. Once stored in the muscles, glycogen cannot be released into the bloodstream, but will be utilized to produce ATP to fuel the muscle.
