Solution
Theory of Evolution:
Theory of Evolution by natural selection was proposed by Charles Darwin and it describes how organisms evolve over generations through the inheritance of physical or behavioral traits.
According to the theory, individuals with traits which helps them better adapt to their surroundings, will survive and reproduce and the next generation will inherit those traits.
Individuals with less adaptive traits will mostly die. Over time, the traits that enable species to survive and reproduce will become more in the population and the population will evolve.
Heredity and Theory of Evolution:
According to the theory of evolution, evolution in organisms occurs through changes in the heritable traits.
Through heredity, variations between individuals can also be accumulated.
