Open in App
Solution

Sperms:

  1. Red algae and some fungi generate spermatia, which are immobile sperm cells, whereas animals create spermatozoa, which are flagellated, motile sperm cells.
  2. Animal male gametocytes include spermatocytes.
  3. They are produced by immature germ cells called spermatogonia.
  4. The seminiferous tubules, a part of the testis, are where they are located.
  5. After meiosis, a single main spermatocyte produces four sperms.
  6. First meiotic division of the primary spermatocyte results in the production of two secondary spermatocytes (haploid).
