Habitat:

1. A habitat is an ecological/environmental area where a particular animal, plant or any other species naturally lives.
2. There are mainly two kinds of habitats:
   1. Terrestrial or land habitats - desert, forests, mountains
   2. Aquatic or water habitats, which may be freshwater(streams, rivers, swamps) or salt water(oceans, seas, salt lakes)
