  1. Slime mould is included in kingdom Protista.
  2. It is a unicellular eukaryotic organism.
  3. It is considered alive because living organisms can reproduce, grow, show response towards the environment and perform metabolic activities.
  4. These are saprophytes.
  5. In favourable conditions, it forms plasmodium. Plasmodium is a multicellular structure.
  6. During unfavourable conditions produces spores in sporangia.
  7. Slime moulds have the characteristics of both animals and fungi.
