Solution
Phage:
Phage is the Greek word
“ φαγεῖν”
meaning “devour”.
It is known as a bacteriophage.
Bacteriophage is a virus cell that attacks bacteria.
It attacks the bacterial cell membrane and enters it.
It leaves its DNA inside the host cell.
It uses the host's (bacteria) replication machinery to create more copies of itself.
The bacteriophage can enter into the lytic phase or the lysis phase to replicate.
