Solution

Zoospores:

  1. The zoospores are produced in favorable conditions at the time of asexual reproduction in some of the phycometes (For example, Ulothrix, Oedogonium).
  2. These are motile, microscopic & flagellated(monotrichous or bitrichous or multitrichous in case of Oedogonium).
  3. Produced as a result of the mitotic division in the haploid parents undergoing meiotic division in the diploid parents.
  4. Therefore, the ploidy level of the zoospores is said to be haploid(n).
