Solution

Cilia:

  1. Cilia are a small, slender, hair-like structure that is present on the surface of all the mammalian cells.
  2. They are also primitive in nature and could also be single or many.
  3. Motile cilia are then located on epithelial cells of several internal organs like lungs, trachea, or even digestive system, etc. They are also found on protozoans like paramecium and help them in the locomotion.
  4. The non-motile cilia can also be found in the dendritic knob of the olfactory neuron.
