Which animals do not have blood?

Open in App
Solution

Animals without blood:

  1. Many kinds of invertebrate animals like coral, jellyfish and even flatworms do not have blood as they are able to absorb the nutrients & move gases and the wastes directly to the outside of their own bodies.
  2. Blood can come in other colors.
  3. Flatworms, nematodes, and even cnidarians (jellyfish, and corals) generally do not have a circulatory system and thus do not have their own blood.
  4. Their body cavity also has no lining or any fluid within it. They obtain the nutrients & oxygen directly from the water in which they live.
