Solution
Dehiscent fruits:
Dehiscent fruits are dry fruits that open up at maturity in order to release their contents.
The pericarp of dehiscent fruits split open upon the release of seeds.
Eg, poppy, legume, etc.
Indehiscent fruits:
They are dry fruits that open up only upon deterioration or spread by consumption by animals.
These fruits do not open up at maturity.
The pericarp of indehiscent fruits stays intact.
