They are never used up in a reaction.
Enzymes with functions:
Nuclease:
It helps in the digestion of nucleic acids, for example, peptidases, deoxyribonuclease, etc.
Protease:
It helps in the digestion of proteins example, pepsin, etc.
Lipase:
It is responsible for the breakdown of fat, for example, pancreatic lipase, etc.
Amylase:
It helps in the breakdown of carbohydrates and starch, for example, pancreatic amylase, etc.
