Some diseases of the digestive system are:

  1. Stomach flu: Stomach flu is an infection of your intestines that usually causes watery diarrhea, pain or cramps in your stomach, nausea or vomiting, and sometimes fever.
  2. GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a condition where stomach acids flow back into the ducts that connect the mouth to the stomach.
  3. Hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids, also called piles, are swollen and inflamed veins around your anus or in the lower part of your rectum.
  4. Constipation: Conditions in which the stool becomes hard, dry, and difficult to pass, and bowel movements do not occur frequently.
