  2. Food, water, air, shelter, and other necessities are all met by the creatures in their environment.
  3. A Desert is an example of a habitat.

Habitat consists of two key components:

  1. Biotic component: Plants, animals, decomposers, microflora, and fauna are all biotic or living components of an environment.
  2. Abiotic component: Abiotic factors include all non-living elements such as environmental circumstances (temperature, pH, humidity, salinity, sunlight, etc.).
