Solution

Human Heart:

  1. The pericardial membrane surrounds the heart, which is a four chambered organ located in the chest area.
  2. Epicardium, myocardium, and endocardium are the three forms of pericardial membrane that cover the heart.
  3. The outermost layer of the heart is called the epicardium, followed by the middle layer, the myocardium, and the inner layer, the endocardium.
  4. The right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium, and left ventricle are the four chambers of the heart.
  5. The ventricles are the chambers that pump blood and the atrium are the chambers that receive blood.
  6. Because the myocardium's breadth fluctuates, so does the heart's thickness.
  7. Deoxygenated blood enters the right chambers, whereas oxygenated blood enters the left chambers.
  8. To keep the blood flowing in one direction, valves are placed between each of these chambers.
  9. Tricuspid valves are the valves that connect the right auricle and ventricle.
  10. A bicuspid valve is also present between the left auricle and ventricle.
  11. Semilunar valves are found between the pulmonary trunk and right ventricle, as well as between the left ventricle and aorta.
