Biodiversity: The variety of life forms on the Earth is called biodiversity. Two major elements of biodiversity:
Genetic diversity: Diversity of living organisms at the genetic level. Two individuals of the same species are similar. For example, humans living in different areas and their genetic diversity.
Species Biodiversity: The diversity of life forms at the species level. Shows the number and distribution of species. The number of species inhabiting the area varies greatly depending on the environment settings. For example, it is usually observed that human societies that live near the body of water have more species than human societies that live far from the body of water.
