Bacteria are unicellular organisms of the prokaryotic group that lack a few organelles and a genuine nucleus.

Bacteria that can survive in stomach:

  1. Conditions in the stomach are extremely harsh due to the production of significant quantities of hydrochloric acid to aid the breakdown of food, along with other chemicals.
  2. The acidic conditions will usually kill any kind of harmful bacteria accidentally entering via food.
  3. Some bacteria can survive in an acidic environment in the stomach.
  4. Helicobacter pylori, and Clostridium botulinum are microbes that can survive the acidic environment of the stomach and induce deadly effects on the host.
