Question

How do viruses attack?

Open in App
Solution

Viruses:

  1. These are infectious organisms that contain DNA or RNA as a genetic material enclosed within a protein coat called a capsid.
  2. Viruses primarily infect the host cells and start replicating by making copies of themselves.
  3. They alter the cellular machinery, which enables it to make new copies of itself.
  4. Eventually, the infected host cell dies and the viral cycle keeps on repeating itself.
