  1. Codominance is the condition where both alleles are equally expressed in a phenotype.
  2. ABO blood group inheritance shows codominance.
  3. The gene determining the blood group is present in three allelic forms IA, IB, and i. IA and IB are codominant over i.
  4. When IA and IB are present together, both the genes are expressed phenotypically with the blood group AB.
  5. It is also an example of multiple alleles.
