Cranial reflex:

  1. The involuntary actions which respond to the stimulation of the peripheral nerve are called reflexes.
  2. The reflex that is under the control of the cranial nerve is called cranial reflex.
  3. Examples of the cranial nerve are watering of the mouth, and eyes, blinking, etc.
  4. This nerve is responsible for the control of the face, head, tongue, and eyeball movement.
  5. The cranial reflex is mostly spinal reflexes.
  6. There is the integration of sensory information and transmission to neurons.
  7. One such example is removing hands by touching a too-hot bow.
