Emotional disorder:

  1. Any emotional response that is prolonged beyond the normal time duration, or persists in the person causing an alteration in their behavior, social response, or everyday activities is referred to as an emotional disorder.
  2. An emotional disorder can be broken down into several forms that encompass anxiety, depression, bipolarity, suicidal thoughts, isolation, unwillingness to socialise as well as constant persistence of a particular mood.
  3. An emotional disorder can be caused due to abusive relationships, stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, physical illness, overdosage of medication or drugs, genetics, or simply a chance occurrence leading to a dysfunction in the cognitive parts of the brain.
