What Is parasitic castration?

Solution
Parasitic castration:
Parasitic castration is the strategy used by crabs against the parasite
Sacculina.
It is one of six major strategies for parasitism.
Entry of the
Sacculina
parasite blocks the reproductive part of the host crab because this parasite feeds on the reproductive organs of the host.
If it is attacking a male crab, it changes its sex to female and if it is attacking a female crab then its ovaries get changed to juvenile type.
