Solution
Polycyclic stele:
Polycyclic stele is a type of stele that has two or even more concentric circles or vascular tissues.
In this type of stele, the internal vascular structure is connected with the outer siphonostele and these type of connections are found on nodes.
If the outer circle of a polycyclic stele is solenostelic, it is a polycyclic solenostele, and if it is dictyostelic, it is a polycyclic dictyostele.
Pteridium aquilinum
has two rings of vascular tissue, while
Montania pectinata
has three.
