Allele: A form of a gene at a specific location (locus) on a chromosome is known as an allele.

Chromosome:

  1. Chromosomes are a component of the cell's nucleus.
  2. Chromosomes are found in pairs, each gene in an organism has two alleles, one on each chromosome of the pair.
