  2. Pistil is composed of three parts namely, stigma, style, and ovary.
  3. Stigma is the head or topmost part, it receives the pollen hence it initiates the fertilization process in flowers.
  4. Style is a long tube-like stalk that connects the stigma and the ovary.
  5. Ovary is located at the base of the pistil which contains ovules.
  6. Ovules develop into seeds after fertilization takes place.
