Solution

High blood pressure:

  1. The arteries transport oxygen-rich blood from the heart to various body parts.
  2. Hypertension or high blood pressure is the term for blood pressure that is higher than normal (90/60mmHg to 120/80mmHg).
  3. This high blood pressure can damage the inner walls of the arteries, causing them to become less elastic.
  4. This further decreases the blood flow and less amount of oxygen reaches to the heart and results in heart ailments.
  5. Decreased flow of blood can lead to angina (chest pain).
  6. In the worst-case, it can result in aneurysm (arterial bulge).
