  2. There are two types of digestion: Physical process and chemical process.
  3. Physical Process: It involves the physical breakdown of food molecules into a smaller, absorbable form.
  4. Chemical Process: It involves a series of chemical reactions to digest the food which occurs inside the stomach under the action of gastric juices and enzymes.
  5. Digestion involves the removal of waste or undigested part of food from the body.
  6. This undigested part of the food is known as feces.
  7. Feces enters caecum of the large intestine from the ileum of small intestine.
  8. The ileocecal valve prevents the back flow of feces.

Undigested part: Thus, the part of the food that is not digested is known as feces.
