Open in App
Solution

Internal Respiration:

  1. In internal respiration, oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged between the cells and blood vessels.
  2. In this type, Oxygen will diffuse out from the blood into the tissue and intestinal fluid.
  3. So this respiration is an exchange of gases between blood and body cells.

External Respiration:

  1. Breathing is another name for External respiration, it is a process of inhalation and exhalation of gases.
  2. This involves both bringing air into the lungs (inhalation) and releasing air into the atmosphere (exhalation).
  3. So this respiration is an exchange of gases across the respiratory membrane of the lungs.
